Yupe it was one hectic week indeed. Don't worry, i won't go into details of each assignment you'll die of boredom before you reach the end (i would), I'm just glad it's over and i think i'll be alright for all of them..

Friday!! Finally!!! after skipping last friday's session, i'm free to go last night. It was one of the best bball session ever.

Left home early cause i was so eager to play, jogged the whole way and by the time i reach the sportscentre i was all warmed up and ready to go! After skipping a week i thought i'll lose touch but it felt quite good, seems like there were a lot of energy stored inside haha. Split into teams and started playing, it was the usual winner stays and loser out games. My team consist of Daniel, David, and a tall guy. David is a good player while Daniel is really tall, we have twin towers hoho, no we didn't cheat by picking our team, it was a random draw.

We were the fourth team in line to play and when it was our turn to play (i'd say it was around 7.05 maybe?), we stepped into the court and stayed in it till 8.30pm. We kept our winning spree right to the last minute, game after game, teams after teams.. The 4 of us played fairly well, the best part was when 3 of us couldn't perform or tired, one would step up and take over. Around 8pm, I was tired and wanted let other teams play, heck i was sitting down already.. but my teammates were like, don't be lazy, they pulled me up and we continued. After a brutal 1 and a half hours of bball, we were all dead tired with a grin on our faces..

Ahh~ what a an awesome bball session. Woke up today and my muscles were aching like crazy. I love basketball!!

Dissapeared for awhile

Haven't been updating cause there's nothing much happening besides me rushing for assignments ehe. But i shall write whatever that comes to mind. :)

So shall we start with assignments as well? hahaha. yea that's pretty much what's in my mind right now. Had presentation on Tuesday, surprisingly it went pretty well, better than expected at least. Was editing and adding so much stuff during the weekend and monday night that i didn't have much time to practice *last minute work duh* More surprisingly my 2 other groupmates were still doing their slides on Tuesday morning!

We were pretty nervous so we didn't wanna present, though i did suggest to go first just to get it out of the way, we ended up being the 2nd last group to present. Good idea nonetheless, i added more information after listening to other groups who presented before us, they were pretty good, i gave most of them a 7. Lecturer said a decent presentation should get a 6, if not I'd just give everyone a 9 or 10.. p/s we're graded by our peers.

I always thought presentation was fine for me but when it was finally time to do it, it was way different.. Heart was pounding on my chest. Not to mention it was like 3 deg outside? The place we were giving our presentation was right beside a window, it was closed but the cold just seeps right though (well technically it's the heat loss through convection *trying to apply what i've been learning lol!*)

My groupmates presented well, when it was my turn, i lay down my speech on the table and just read it word for word, occasionally looking up to see if anyone's asleep haha. I don't really think my presentation was an good, but i had confidence in my slides, took me a long time to edit it. Well the marks will be posted in december hopefully i'm alright.

Fast forward to friday! It's suppose to be my usual free basketball session at the sportscentre but not this week. All direct entries asian students for mechanical engineering were invited to a house party by a lectuer (Dr. Chin). We took a tram around 7 to his house, we even bought a wine for him so at least we wouldn't go empty-handed though i think we were the only group who brought something. *we did however find out later that his stash of wine is wayy more than enough, our cheap wine was quickly chucked to a corner nowhere to be seen, but hey it's the thought that counts right*

His house is fairly small and there wasn't much space to walk let alone sit, we all stood and chatted the whole time we were there, i thought it was a pretty nice and cozy place. We were served with cinnamon rolls, minced meat pie (which in fact contains no meat at all, it's all raisins go figure), crisp (a.k.a potato chips), etc etc. Met lots of people from different year and learned a new card game. Went back around 10pm to continue with assignments.. -.-
